I am an experienced Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and have been in practice for 18 years. Over this period I have helped many women, and men, who had imbalances in the digestive system such as bloating, reflux and IBS, hormone imbalances such as PMS and menopause and stress and low energy related conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue and Hashimoto’s.
I work mainly with people in their 40s and 50s who feel their lives are out of balance in some way and who would like a helping hand get back on track, and regain their joy and vitality.
I became interested in nutrition and healing as a result of my 2 month old son developing severe eczema. After my daughter was born I decided to leave my corporate career and retrain as a Nutritional Therapist at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition, founded by Patrick Holford.
After several years as a Nutritional Therapist, I burnt out and I started having regular Reiki and crystal healing which was life changing as not only did it help me deal with causes of the burnout, it was the first step to me training in Reiki and crystal healing myself.
I use an array of modalities that allow my clients to be fully engaged and involved in their own healing. This includes nutritional therapy, allergy testing, HeartMath breath work or energy healing such as Reiki and crystal healing.
The majority of clients with physical symptoms of ill health/imbalance start their healing journey with nutritional therapy as rebalancing the body is equivalent to building the foundations of a house. Many people contact me because they feel they have food allergies/intolerances and for these people allergy testing with the Test Expert Plus technology is one of the first parts of the programme alongside nutritional therapy.
I have been a Reiki master and a licensed crystal healer for the past 10 years, more recently I have become a HeartMath practitioner, a health coach plus I have completed a Foundation course in BioGeometry. I now integrate the various modalities I am trained in with nutritional therapy which offers a truly holistic healing opportunity. I see my role as being a coach and guide, here to support and empower you, I believe we all possess the ability to heal ourselves, sometimes we just need a little assistance to activate it.
I am a member of BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) and the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council), the professional and regulatory bodies for Nutritional Therapy. In addition I have been a member of the BANT Professional Practice Panel (PPP) for several years.

We also run the allergy test with the Test Expert Plus, which is based on bio-energetic medicine and looks at the body as an energy. Western medicine is the only medical system that does not have a vitalistic approach to illness, and does not have any concept of biological energy. It tends to investigate the body looking at morphology. All other forms of medicine, which represent 80% of medicine practised, have some concept of vital force or energy of some description. I have been working in Alternative Medicine since 1977 – I began training in humanistic Psychotherapy in 1975 but in 1978 I experienced a minor epiphany about the power of Traditional Acupuncture to transform people’s lives during a few months of treatment for an injured knee. I damaged my knee cartilage playing football when I was 16 and it had given me a lot of pain for 10 years or more. I was sick of taking pain-killers and didn’t want the surgery so I sought out alternatives – I tried homoeopathy and osteopathy and experienced some benefits but not much help for my knee. Finally I tried Traditional Acupuncture, it was brilliant – my knee became much more mobile and pain-free and my life changed – my sleep improved, my volatile temper calmed down, my skin cleared up (acne), my vitality improved and I changed course. I abandoned my plans to become a psychotherapist and in 1979 I began training in Traditional Acupuncture at The College of Traditional Acupuncture UK, which I completed in 1982 with a Licentiate of Acupuncture. Over the next 20 years I completed my Bachelor of Acupuncture. Master of Acupuncture, Master Herbalist and 5 trainings in Bio-Energetic Regulatory Medicine. In my practice now, by way of B.E.R.M., I use a Vega-Expert machine (excellent diagnostic and treatment aid), Kosmed Treatment machine and a Rife machine.
As we entered the 21st century I re-visited my earlier interest in meditation and spiritual matters and I have recently completed trainings in Angelic Reiki to Master/Teacher level. I am still exploring Law of Attraction-style philosophies and the power of the mind to transform both itself and the health of the body.
I am qualified and insured in the therapies that I offer and I can apply a number of skills to almost any health complaint(s) and I am still surprised sometimes at a body’s ability to throw off disease and illness when the body is given the right assistance. And if I can’t assist you then I probably know someone who can.

Acupuncture has important effects on the way in which the nervous system, glandular system and the immune system work. Osteopathy treats pain or aching muscles and joints anywhere in the body. We use various methods such as therapeutic massage to gentle manipulation of joints, including the spine, to help relieve pain, discomfort, stiffness and relief of symptoms. We don’t just do backs! Other systems of the body can be helped such as digestive problems and constipation.
The Test Expert health screening is a system of medicine which uses the subtle energies of the body to diagnose disease at varying stages of its development. It is very useful for testing food sensitivities and allergies. A machine is used to test you at the Crouch End Clinic.
