WHAT DOES THE WEGAMED CHECK MEDICAL ELITE DO?
The Wegamed Check Medical Elite provides an automated, non-invasive assessment using Bio-impedance Analysis (BIA). It generates a detailed report that gives practitioners additional information to consider alongside their professional assessment and client history.
HOW DOES THE FULL BODY SCAN WORK?
The Check Medical Elite uses Bio-impedance Analysis (BIA) and six electrodes positioned on the hands, feet and head.
The device performs four pre-programmed, automated assessment sequences, collecting measurements from different areas of the body.
The assessment takes approximately 10 minutes and generates a detailed report for the practitioner to review with the client.

- Assessment time: approximately 10 minutes
- Technology: Bio-impedance Analysis (BIA), using pulsed direct electrical currents to measure electrical conductivity and resistance across different body sections
- Electrodes: three pairs of electrodes – a double forehead electrode, two hand electrodes and a double foot electrode
- Measurement areas: seven predefined body sections are systematically assessed
- Measurement process: the assessment follows a series of automated phases, including preparation, preliminary test, two main measurement programmes, an interval and a post-test
