MED AUDIOCOLOR is an innovative device combining real-time neurofeedback with colour and sound therapy. Colours and sounds permeate all aspects of our lives, and they are extremely important to relax or stimulate us. This device activates and trains both parts of the brain. By using a headset, brain waves are picked up and generate colours and sounds that are remodulated according to a chosen training programme. WHAT DOES THE MED AUDIOCOLOR DEVICE DO?
The Med Audiocolor devices are neurofeedback machines which activate and train both sides of the brain. Also sometimes known as biofeedback, the device receives information from the client’s brainwaves. The therapy can help clients to regulate and improve their brain function, promoting better mental wellbeing and alleviating symptoms of illness.
HOW THE MED AUDIOCOLOR DEVICE WORKS
Attach the Med Audiocolor device to your client’s head using a headband. The biofeedback machine processes thoughts in visual and audio form. In a painless procedure lasting up to 2 hours, although often shorter, the client’s brainwaves are interpreted as sounds and colours which are projected back to the client via the device display. Med Audiocolor has a range of programmes which can be altered to suit the patient. Each program directs the client’s brainwave activity towards more desirable patterns which reduce stress and improve sleep and mental clarity.
